For more than four decades, I have worked at the intersection of software engineering, management, quality, and organizational excellence. Throughout my career at companies including Philips, NXP, Bosch, and ASML, I have seen one question repeatedly challenge engineering leaders:
Why do some organizations consistently produce high-quality software while others struggle, despite having talented engineers and modern tools?
That question became the foundation of my work.
Today, I help organizations understand that software quality is not created by testing, inspections, or metrics alone. It is the natural outcome of the engineering system; its leadership, culture, practices, architecture, and environment.
I am the creator of the 1+3 Software Quality Model, an author, keynote speaker, and advisor to engineering leaders. My mission is to challenge conventional thinking and provide a practical framework for building organizations that consistently deliver high-quality software.
